Coach Erika Prado

Erika Prado has enjoyed tremendous soccer success both as player and coach. She began playing soccer at the mere age of four and made her presence known on the field through her involvement with Premier Club Leagues, ODP Program, and her participation in winning nationals at the age of thirteen. She joined with the Women’s Mexican National team program and traveled extensively playing soccer. Her success continued as she received a full soccer scholarship to attend Cal State Los Angeles.

Because of her strong desire to give back to the soccer community, Erika began training young athletes at the age of sixteen. The first team she coached with GFC began at the Bronze level and won numerous tournaments, league cup, and most importantly they were just named 2007 US Club Soccer National Cup Region F Champions. The passion Erika has for player development led her to once again begin training new teams. She is well respected for her technical training approach. Her commitment is to place a strong foundation with her teams that will carry them through future success because of increased confidence, skill, and ball control. She is an excellent role model for our young girls and an asset to the GFC program.
