T. J. Studna
T. J. spent most of his life growing up in Lenexa, Kansas and moved to
Glendora, California in September of 2000. T. J. comes to GFC with a good amount of coaching and playing experience. He is a person who has a great deal of passion and love for the sport of soccer. Considered by many as a “player’s coach”, he thrives on the success of his players in and out of the game.
T. J. Studna has been around the sport since the age of 8, and has played at various levels throughout his career. He played at the club level as a youth. He also played at the high school level where he enjoyed a State championship. He has had success at the College and Semi-pro level. In addition, he has played on area teams such as the SuperNovas (PASL), and the O.C. Seahorses (USL).
Studna has been coaching the game for half of his life. He has coached at such levels as GU19 Indoor Regional Champions (97-98), 3 years with GHS on both boys and girls sides (00-02, 04-05) and Club soccer for GFC (01-present). He is also Co-Director of The Soccer Academy program here in Glendora.
Other soccer accolades include the development of the Glendora Community Soccer Association and Glendora Coed Soccer League (01-present). He was the Director of Adult Soccer Programs at the Arena (03-05). T. J. is also the area’s leader in youth Private Training. Recently Studna has stepped up into GFC’s new Director of Club Development.
